Kate Bosworth recently added designer to her resume, launching her JewelMint jewelry collection with stylist and longtime-pal Cher Coulter, late last year.
The collection is stylish mix of edgy, classic and vintage-inspired pieces available to online members for a monthly fee. Kate and business partner Cher, love affordable finds and wanted to bring their unique vision to a $29.99 price point with jewelry and the response has been so overwhelmingly wonderful. The fashion savvy star, who loves to mix high-end designers with non-high-priced options, is very passionate about her collection. The two are involved in making every piece, every month.
Each piece has been inspired by something Kate and Cher have experienced firsthand, and they let that inspiration evolve into what you see each month. Inspirations have come from a pair of Deco-style earrings found shopping at a church sale in the Cotswolds of England’s countryside. And other inspirations have been found from hunting through antique markets in Sweden. Working together on this collection is a natural progression of Kate and Cher’s relationship. They’ve been best friends for nearly 10 years now and working together for almost five years. They have a real shorthand professionally and a harmonious balance when it comes to style and it shows in the JewelMint collection.
Bosworth, who will appear in the upcoming film Another Happy Day, alongside Ellen Barkin and Demi Moore, manages to stay grounded despite her busy schedule as actress, designer and style icon, which is what draws us in even further to this humble collection of beautiful pieces. This is real and down to earth fashion.
